Silent Steps exists to create space for remembrance, conversation and connection. We’d love for your story to reach room’s it wouldn’t have before.
It is an opportunity to honour those who are no longer here, support the families who carry them in their hearts and encourage greater compassion and understanding within our communities.
At its core, Silent Steps is a reminder that every story matters and no family should feel alone through their grief.
How your support helps
Bears of Hope offer multiple ways to support families through their journey. A special way that they support families is through bears, bears to honour a baby special to you in hopes to provide comfort, offer hope and heal the hearts of families affected by pregnancy and infant loss, right across Australia. Through Silent Steps we hope to raise enough funds to donate 100 bears to future families needing support on their journey.

In honour of Olive, Hannah started Olive & Kin in 2023 when she needed an urn for her daughter. Hannah couldn’t find anything that felt right, so she made one. Handcrafted with love and purpose Olive & Kin now provides custom ceramic urns to families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss Australia wide. We would love to support their mission as these Urns are free of charge for families. When you are in the depths of grief these little details can make a huge difference.

As the organisation behind Silent Steps, Mr.Kobi is committed to creating meaningful opportunities for families. Through our community commitment projects and our Sonder programs we reflect the importance of putting other before yourself, connecting with your community and creating opportunities for families to slow down. Funds raised through Silent Steps will help support the delivery of both our community commitment initiatives and our Sonder programs.

Korah is the heart behind Silent Steps and she continues to shape who I am, how I see the world and is the purpose behind everything I do.
Silent Steps is a reflection of the love we have for her and our hope that every family experiencing pregnancy and infant loss knows their story is worthy.
Korah’s memory lives on in the stories we share, the connections we create and the lives we touch along the way.
